Tech Line Mine Duty II Secondary Cleaner

The Tech Line Mine Duty II Cleaner provides a rugged, simplified frame design and is most likely the most versatile belt cleaner. Ideal for use in heavy mining, quarry, ship loading, coal prep, power plant, industrial, pulp/paper and other applications. The rigid bar design never traps the belt between the Mine Duty II cleaner and the pulley.

Tensioning Systems

The Tech Line Mine Duty II is available with both Push-Up and Pull-Up Air/Water Tensioners and Push-Up and Pull-Up Mechanical Tensioners.

  • Designed to provide constant tension to the cleaner
  • Well suited to installations that are difficult to access
  • Simple valve operation allows tension to be released quickly to speed up blade changes and maintenance
  • Water regulators are provided with a pressure relief valve to prevent over pressurizing, commonly used in underground applications where service water is available and freezing is not an issue
  • Plant air regulator systems are used in above ground applications and where freezing is an issue
  • Optional CO2 regulator systems are used in remote and mobile applications such as stacking conveyors, and remote overland discharges where plant air is not readily available

  • Designed to provide adjustable tension to the cleaner
  • Suited to locations that are not difficult to access
  • Requires tension be monitored and adjusted as the blade wears
  • Lower cost system but requires more maintenance attention during its life
  • No risk of losing cleaning ability because of a failed air or water supply
  • Different designs for clearance only

Tech Line Blades

The Tech Line Mine Duty II Cleaner uses the new Tech Line blades, which are used in the most demanding applications.  They are available in 6" and 12" segments.  The new one piece TRI-Zone blade is available in belt widths from 18" to 96" and offers three cleaning options across the blade. They are custom designed to meet specific applications and belt conditions.
